Lisa Disselkamp

As President of Athena Enterprises, Lisa leads a team of talented consultants who share her passion for time and labor management technology.

Drawing on years of experience Lisa has become a nationally recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) guiding client teams thru all phases of system selection, implementation and optimization.  She has led multi-million dollar projects impacting up to 70,000 employees in companies with billion dollar payrolls.

In 2005, Mrs. Disselkamp was invited by Newt Gingrich to present to the Center for Health Transformation in Washington DC on workforce management technology.  She has also been an invited speaker and webinar presenter for the Human Capital Institute, HR.com, the Institute of Management & Administration (IOMA), ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Assoc.), the Service Corp. of Retired Executives (SCORE), State SHRM conferences, vendor conventions, the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), the Society of CPAs, and the American Payroll Association.

Disselkamp is the author of the only two books focusing solely on Workforce Management technology - No Boundaries (Wiley & Co. 2009) and Working the Clock (Oaklea Press 2007).  She has written several white papers, articles and has conducted industry research and benchmarking on workforce management technology issues.   Mrs. Disselkamp has been called upon for her expertise and insight by trade publications such as the Wall Street Journal and Workforce Management Magazine.

Disselkamp is a member of the APA's Emerging Technology SubCommittee and VISTA - Society of Industry Leaders, where she serves as an advisor to financial industry analysts.  She is a Contributing Editor to industry newsletters and the Payroll Manager's Report and sits on the Advisory Board for IOMA's HR/Payroll forum.

In 2009, Lisa and her firm, Athena Enterprises, received the prestigious Top 100 Women and Minority Owned Business Enterprise Award.  Disselkamp graduated with honors from Earlham College with a degree in Japanese and International Management and was a National American Business Women's Scholar.  She spent time in Morioka, Japan and studied at Iwate Ika Daigaku (Medical University).

In 2008 she was recognized as the "Woman of the Year - Technology Star" by the Smart Woman's Club. Lisa resides in Midlothian, VA, with her husband and two children.
